Beginning your Tie Dye Journey
When your beginning your tie dye journey it is important to make sure you have all the materials you need. Lets start with set-up. When dyeing you should be outside, as dye will stain. You can either dye on the floor or a table, as long as you don’t mind it getting dirty. Lastly you should wear clothing that you are willing to get stained. Moving on to materials, you want to make sure you have all your materials around you when you start to make the process easier. You want to have Your choice of fabric, as long as it’s at least 50% cotton. You also want to have Dye, to dye your fabric( I recommend either Rit dye or tulip Tie dye.) Next you want a pair of gloves so your hands don’t turn the color of your dye. you need rubber bands to create your design, you need squeeze bottles to put your dye in and lastly you need either saran wrap or a ziploc bag big enough to hold your piece of fabric. That is everything you will need in order to start your tie dye journey. If you want to know how to tie dye step by step, check out one of my other blogs.
